Teachers’ Opinion

img_0036Chingari program was started with 12 students in our school in the year 2013. Our school  starts at nursery level so children coming in first standard are ready with reading, writing skills. I saw that some of the children were slow learners; they were weak in studies and could not cope with the other children.

Students’ Opinion

When I started teaching small children they didn’t even know alphabet and numbers, which made them disinterested in studies and lazy. I brought their interest back in studies by teaching them alphabet and numbers so that they learnt reading and writing properly and enjoyed studies.

Chingari

ChingariA second project named Chingari was started by Vidyoday Foundation to support the students who are economically as well as educationally weak and give them a vision and inspire them to study further. Chingari’s main motive is to give ‘double inspiration’. When elder students help the younger students in studies, they got token honorarium which would help the elder students in their studies also.
