Blood donation camp

We had organized a blood donation camp at Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad location and around 25 volunteers participated in this social cause for donating blood with full of enthusiasm and energy. This blood donation camp was being conducted by C-Metric & Vidyoday Foundation together. The blood bank Prathama Blood Centre team came to both the locations to collect blood along with other equipment’s and collected the blood from volunteers. By this initiative Prathama Blood Centre will provide blood without replacement and free blood to each Thalassemia patients, every effort bring a smiles , breathe, hope of life. It will definitely give a big breather for few days to the lives of thalassemia patients.”

Divyang Khel Maha Kumbh

thumbnail_IMG_9705Government has organized Divyang Khel Maha Kumbh, on 9th September 2017 at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya, Gandhinagar. Entire Gandhinagar’s Divyang students were invited to participate in Khel Mahotsav. We believe almost every students participated in this Khel Maha Kumbh. We volunteered 150 students in all.

We, ‘Vidyoday Foundation’, invited as Volunteers for this entire event. We went and stayed there during the Mahotsav.

thumbnail_IMG_9678The Volunteers ; Arvind Chandel, Yogini Joshi, Kumar Doultani, Savan Bhavsar, Karnadev Chauhan, Hardik Chauhan, Jignesh Joshi, Mahesh Bihola, Dhaval Vyas, Sejal Butani, Roshni Pandya, Yuvraj Parmar, Ravi Patel, Pramod Kushwaha, Kartik Vanza and Dinesh Kalarathi these are the employees of ‘C-metric’ who volunteered in the Divyang Khel Maha Kumbh.

We prepared the play ground ready for all the players as per the rules and regulation of each games/sports. All the participants were individually instructed properly so that they can play and perform well with confidence in the respective game or activities. We have volunteered and played our role with best of our efficiency and participated in all the games and activities to encourage and cheer them up. We also played a role of referee as well wherein we helped all players in Running, Shot put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw and Chess right from beginning till the end.

We support divyang students to play each and every game which was listed in the program. We enjoyed the experience of spending quality time with all players

Hindi Day

On occasion 0f Hindi Day, Vidyoday Foundation and Shree  C.K.Gohil Primary School have celebrated different competitions at different level, regarding the languages Hindi and Gujarati to improve the standard of both of them.

Part-1                   :         Gujarati Hand writing competition (Std 1 and 2)
Part-2                   :         Hindi Hand writing Competition(Std 3 to 5)
Part-3                   :         Hindi Poetry recitation (Std-6)
Part-4                   :         Hindi Elocution Competition (Std 7 and8)

 

 

 

 

The information about the rules and regulations for the competition were sent to the Private and Government Primary Schools all over Rajkot on 8/11/2017. The entry forms ware received by email or post till  14/11/2017.

The programme was conducted on 21/11/2017. Children came with full of preparation and lots of enthusiasm. They have participated successfully with anxiety. The judges also worked whole heartedly. The best 3 performers were encouraged by the certificates and gifts.

Prizes had been given to winners in the presence of trustee and mementoes had been given to judges to show gratefulness. All the participates got prizes,too.

   Vidyday Foundation garlanded the respected the Principal Chetanaben Ahya  and honoured her by shawl and award.

Entire atmosphere was joyous and full of warmth. Vidyoday Foundation expressed gratitude towards the Principal Chetanaben Ahya for her co-operation.

And this was not the end…..but….just the beginning.
