HOW WE HELP: The Chingari Project
The project is based on the idea that senior students play the role of a tutor to teach the junior students belonging to 1st through 4th standard. The junior students are provided with one-to-one support under the supervision of teachers, making it comfortable to focus on their weak areas. The family and personal backgrounds of each of these students are kept in mind to provide them with special care as required by them.
The project also seeks to provide senior students with learning opportunities to advance their teaching and leadership skills. In return, the Foundation provides monetary payment to these students for their contribution.
The advantage to all participants in this project creates enthusiasm and momentum to illuminate the brilliance of the students lagging behind as well as high performing students. Consequently the tutored students have increased classroom participation and successful overall performance. The most important factor in children’s education is the extent to which we teach them to enjoy learning! Teaching a child to take pleasure in study is the greatest guarantor of their intellectual success.
The special educational sports were arranged on 10th March 2026 at Rajkot, for Chingari students who attend the classes on Sunday. All these activities were based on play way method.
For MATHS the game was arranged following music during which the children were supposed to find out the different shapes of maths.
For ENGLISH to flourish the vocabulary the vegetables and fruits were kept and the students were supposed to find out the names of them.
For GUJARATI the students were supposed to write the sentences in good attractive handwriting and that too remarkable speed.
The improvement in memory and vocabulary was observed in play way method with fun.
