- In the year 2013-14, 32 students were helped providing financial help worth Rs. 1, 37, 824.00.

Programs carried out for 3 years…
Keeping the objectives of the trust in mind, trust collected names from the service providers serving in backward areas, rural areas and slums. During the initial year 32 Students were provided support, Sarita was one of them whose father works as farm labor. She was from village Dhedhuki where services were provided by Chaitanyabhai and Sonalben. Having recognized Sarita’s potential they put her in Sanosara Lokbharti School and made arrangements to pay her fees. As a result she scored well in her SSC examination and a request was made to Vidyoday Foundation to help her study further in Science stream. So Vidyoday Foundation decided to support her as she came from poor family, it was hard for her family to even have two square meals a day. Also her commitment to study was at peak and if Vidhoyaday would not have helped her it was almost not possible for her family to provide support for her education. Vidyoday Foundation reviewed 32 cases like Sarita and gave them support in their fees.
After that Vidyoday Foundation searched for SSC pass students from the Primary schools. Those who were able to study further were recognized and scholarships, financial support and hostel facility were provided to them.
Two Science Kits were also donated to two primary schools by the foundation. Apart from this, help was also given to the economically backward students of many secondary schools.

સમગ્ર ત્રણ વર્ષમાં…
આ ઉદ્દેશને ધ્યાનમાં રાખી, ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં, પછાત એરિયામાં, ગરીબ વિસ્તારમાં કામ કરતા ઢેઢુકી જેવા તદ્દન નાના ગામમાં કાર્ય કરતા, સેવા આપતા કાર્યકરો પાસેથી નામ મેળવ્યા. પ્રથમ વર્ષે જરૂરિયાતમંદ ૩૨ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સહાય આપી તેમાં એક વિદ્યાર્થિની કુ. સરિતાના પિતા ઢેઢુકી ગામમાં ખેત મજુરી કરે છે તે ગામમાં ચૈતન્યભાઇ — સોનલબેન સેવા આપે છે તેમણે આ બાળકીમાં શકિત જોઇ તેને સણોસરા લોકભારતી માં દાખલ કરી ફીની પણ વ્યવસથા કરી હતી. ધો. ૧૦ માં સારુ પરિણામ આવતાં તેને વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહમાં દાખલ કરવાની વિદ્યોદય ફાઉન્ડેશન પાસે માંગણી આવી. તેમની આર્થિક પરિસ્થિતિ નબળી હોવાને કારણે તેનો અભ્યાસ અટકે તેમ હતું. તેમના ઘરે તો રોટલા સાથે શાકની પણ વ્યવસ્થા નહોતી. પરંતુ સરિતા ભણીને આગળ આવવા માટે કટિબધ્ધ હતી. તેથી વિદ્યોદય ફાઉન્ડેશને તેને મદદ કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું. તેના ફોર્મનાં અભ્યાસ સાથે તેવાજ બીજા ૩૨ ફોર્મનો અભ્યાસ કરી સહુને ફીમાં રાહત આપવામાં આવી. વળી વિદ્યોદય ફાઉન્ડેશને નાના ગ્રામની પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓમાંથી ધો. ૧૦ પાસ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અંગે તપાસ કરી, આગળ ભણી શકે તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શિક્ષકો દ્બારા ભાળ મેળવી તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સ્કોલરશીપ, આર્થિક સહાય તથા છાત્રવાસ માટે મદદ કરી. ગરીબ બાળકો માટેની બે પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓને આ ફાઉન્ડેશન તરફથી બે વિજ્ઞાનકીટ પણ ભેટ આપવામાં આવી. આ ઉંપરાંત વિદ્યોદય ફાઉન્ડેશ દ્બારા શહેરની ઉચ્ચ માધ્યમિક શાળાઓની આર્થિક રીતે પછાત તથા જરૂરિયાતમંદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સહાય આપવામાં આવેલ છે [:]
